The Furth Law Firm, P.A. has resolved our clients' legal problems in a broad range of legal issues in New Mexico and West Texas. We believe we can make a difference, both for our clients and for society, by achieving solutions to our clients' problems.

We take great pride in our track record of past victories, and hope to use our history of success to guide our practice into the future. Some of our past successes include:

  • We obtained certification in one of the largest employment class actions, Savaglio v. Wal-Mart Stores, representing approximately 171,000 individuals against Wal-Mart for wage and hourviolations. The case went to trial and resulted in a $172 million verdict for the plaintiffs.

  • We defended a Navy veteran who had been wrongfully sued by a general contractor for $21,000.00.  We were able to get the case dismissed and counter sued for our client resulting in an award of $49,844.00.

  • In a construction defect case, the firm won a judgment against a contractor for building a defective rock wall prior to trial and received sanctions against a well known defense firm.

  • We successfully represented a woman in a breach of partnership case against her former partner and obtained a confidential settlement.

  • Represented a non-profit successfully that had been threatened with litigation by a large HMO; we negotiated a favorable settlement for our client.

  • Successfully represented an individual against a wealthy doctor that defamed our client at a hospital in an act of retaliation. The client was so excited about the result obtained, she donated part of her settlement proceeds to a local charity. Click here to read the letter.

  • Obtained dismissal of a complaint filed against an attorney for sending a demand letter pursuant to the Litigation Privilege.

  • We obtained a settlement twice the amount our client wanted in a breach of contract case. Through hard work and diligence we uncovered that defendants had destroyed evidence, which broke the case wide open.

  • Obtained a $1.56 million dollar settlement in a breach of contract case.

  • In an elder abuse case, an insurance agent sold a $4,000.00 crypt to our elderly client with insurance and interest that brought the total cost to over $25,000.00. We succeeded in winning our client's total purchase price back for her.

  • Protected our client's First Amendment rights when his ex-wife attempted to get an injunction to prevent our client from internet postings. The end result was the ex-wife was ordered to pay for our client's $7,500.00 attorney's fees and the injunction was denied.

  • Obtained a six figure settlement against a large insurance company when they accused our client of stealing his car.
  • In an insurance case, we argued for our client's rights to the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and obtained a large seven-figure settlement from a national insurance company who accused our client of arson.

  • Obtained a large six figure settlement for clients when their employers subjected them to daily sexual and racial discrimination, a hostile work environment, and wrongful termination.
